This ABMS certification journey will continue on other asset prospects.
MedcoEnergi’s journey to strengthen good governance and preventing bribery has started even before 2016 through various Corporate level programs and commitment that reflected in our Good Corporate Governance Guideline and the Company's Code of Conduct.
The commitment continues through building Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) in MedcoEnergi assets. We have certified in ISO 37001:2016 ABMS in our Medco E&P Natuna Ltd, E&P Procure-to-Pay Process, Medco Power Indonesia’s Home Office and its subsidiaries (PT Mitra Energi Batam/Dalle Energi Batam, PT Energi Listrik Batam and PT Tanjung Jati B Power Services), Joint Venture (JOB Tomori), Medco Energi Thailand (Bualuang) Ltd., as well as plan to implement and obtain it for Medco E&P Grissik Ltd.
The ABMS elements that we have established:
- MedcoEnergi anti-bribery policy, procedures, and controls.
- Top Management commitment.
- Management Review on the anti-bribery programs.
- Anti-bribery training and communication.
- Conduct regular Fraud/Bribery Risk Assessment workshops.
- Due Diligence program.
- Investigation on the reported concerns and monitoring.
- Corrective actions including collaborate with related organization functions.
- Continual improvement.
