Anti-Money Laundering

Commitment to Anti-Money Laundering

Anti-money laundering policy applicable to all MedcoEnergi entitles and aims to strengthen our transparency to protect our business integrity.

MedcoEnergi is committed to the highest ethical standards and will not tolerate money laundering. We will not partner with entities that tolerate the diversion of resources through money laundering. The Code of Conduct clearly mentioned our commitment not to allow, facilitate nor support money laundering in conducting our operation business.

In March 2024, we launched Corporate Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policy No COP-AIC-EXC-POL-003 dated 12 March 2024 to strengthen our commitment to prohibit money laundering and sets out the rules and guidelines for Directors, Employees and Business Partners in relation to the prevention of money laundering across our business.

Under that policy, the COMPANY is implementing the measures to ensure effective AML compliance program including:

  • Conduct a regular risk assessment,
  • Proportionate risk based due diligence (including screening process),
  • Periodic communication & socialization,
  • Implement an adequate internal control.
  • Independent audit.

We encourage our Employees and Business Partners to report concerns and potential violations our Code of Conduct, policies, and the applied laws through the available whistleblowing channels. Every violation report will be treated with confidentiality and will be validated as per the applied laws and COMPANY’s policies.

In addition, MedcoEnergi implement policies and procedures to detect and investigate unusual or suspicious activity and report any such activity as required by applicable law.

Violation of the Code of Conduct and/or AML Policy could result in disciplinary actions, or any other appropriate action being taken in relation to the individual and/or the business that supplies goods and/or services to MedcoEnergi.
