The Company's Code of Conduct implies MedcoEnergi’s commitment to follow the applicable local and relevant international laws and regulations, including compliance to economic sanction and international trade competition laws. This commitment extended to our business partners, including joint venture partners, agents, distributors, representatives, contractors and suppliers.

Prior 2016, our sanction compliance program has been built in Corporate-level through due diligence exposures. As our business grows and assets are continuously expanding, following sanction compliance in conducting business becomes more imperative as part of our Ethical commitments. Hence, as a part of the 2018 MedcoEnergi Sustainability Report’s Action Plan, we have established the Corporate Sanction Compliance Policy effective in 1^st September 2021.

Our Corporate Sanctions Compliance Policy enforces to conduct sanction screening as a part of business process and/or through due diligence process in dealing with potential counterparties or business transactions with particular risk profile.
