Roberto Lorato
Director & Chief Executive Officer
Italian national, born in Italy on April 10th 1958; received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Padua, Italy (1987), a degree in Energy Economics from Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei, Italy (1988) and a Master’s degree from the London Business School, UK (1994). Previously President Director of Premier Oil Indonesia (2010-2015), Managing Director of ENI Indonesia (2006-2009), President & CEO of VICO (2003-2006) and Managing Director of Agip, UK (2001-2002). An active member of the IPA Board of Directors (2006-2015) was elected President of the association for 2008 and 2009. With more than 35 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry, Roberto was appointed Director & Chief Executive Officer by Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on November 25th 2015; also serves as a member of the Sustainability & Risk Management Committee; has no affiliated relationships with members of the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Directors.
