MedcoEnergi holds a 20.9% stake in Amman Mineral Internasional (AMMN), a publicly listed copper and gold mining company. AMMN has established itself as one of Indonesia’s fully integrated mining-to-smelting producers, supported by extensive infrastructure across its operations. Its portfolio includes Batu Hijau, Indonesia’s second-largest copper-gold mine, and Elang, one of the world’s largest undeveloped copper–gold porphyry deposits.

To support its integrated operations, AMMN operates a 120,000 tonnes-per-day processing plant, a smelter with an annual capacity of 900,000 tonnes, a dedicated mining equipment fleet, and a diversified power infrastructure comprising a reliable 112 MW coal-fired power plant, a 45 MW diesel power plant, and a 26.8 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) plant. Together, these assets provide a strong operational foundation and enhance the reliability and efficiency of its mining and processing activities.
