MedcoEnergi prioritizes creating a positive social footprint within the communities we operate in. We integrate comprehensive Environmental, Social, and Health Impact Assessments (ESHIA) throughout our project lifecycles. These assessments inform the development of robust Social Management Plans designed to mitigate potential adverse effects and maximize positive outcomes for host communities, including vulnerable groups.

Aligned with our Social Management System (SMS) framework, MedcoEnergi employs a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy. This strategy incorporates stakeholder mapping and social mapping activities to meticulously identify local stakeholders and communities of interest. These proactive measures ensure that we effectively address community needs and deliver our programs in a culturally sensitive manner.

Utilizing the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, we conduct regular reviews and implement enhancements to measure progress and elevate the maturity of our social performance. The SMS serves as a unifying framework, ensuring alignment across all functions to address identified social issues. Through this comprehensive approach, we strive to continuously improve social performance and secure a sustainable social license to operate.
