Corridor

MedcoEnergi acquired a 54% stake and operatorship in the Corridor PSC in 2022, following the acquisition in 2021. The block's 20-year extension began in 2023. Located onshore in South Sumatra, the block contains seven producing gas fields and two producing oil fields, situated close to MedcoEnergi's existing operations. As Indonesia’s second-largest gas producer, the Corridor block supplies long-term contracts to reputable buyers in both Indonesia and Singapore.

Additionally MedcoEnergi holds a minority stake in the Transasia Pipeline Company, which plays a pivotal role in the gas network serving Central Sumatra, Batam, and Singapore. The Corridor PSC also includes reservoirs suitable for carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), highlighting its potential for supporting future sustainability efforts.
