Air Emission Management

MedcoEnergi’s oil and gas operations release air emissions, including nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulphur oxides (SOx), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and particulate matters (PMs). Moreover, our gas-fired power plants emit NOx, SOx, and PMs. Details of our air emissions performance can be found in  MedcoEnergi's GRI Performance Data.

Our method in managing and monitoring air emissions is outlined in our Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans. We adhere to several regulations in the countries where we operate in order to ensure compliance with air emission standards for upstream oil and gas operations.
