BackHerb Medicinal Plant (TOGA): Unlock Women's Potential

The Herbal Medicinal Plant (TOGA) program is one of MedcoEnergi’s women's empowerment initiatives. This environmentally friendly farming program teaches housewives how to utilize and apply these skills in their home yards. The program aims to serve as a source of additional income, improve family health, and contribute to environmental greening. It includes guidance on cultivation techniques, processing, packaging, group formation and networking, as well as marketing herbal products. Participants of this program have successfully developed home-based herbal products with permits issued by the District Health Office in the form of Home Industry Food (PIRT) numbers.
