Royke Tumilaar

Independent Commissioner

Indonesian citizen, Royke Tumilaar holds a Bachelor of Economics from Universitas Trisakti and a Master of Business from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. With nearly four decades of experience in the banking and financial services industry, he has developed extensive expertise in corporate banking, wholesale banking, treasury, credit risk management, and financial institution leadership. Royke built most of his career at Bank Mandiri, where he held a series of senior executive positions, including Director of Corporate Banking, Director of Wholesale Banking, Director of Treasury, Financial Institutions & Special Assets Management, and ultimately President Director from 2019 to 2020. He subsequently served as President Director of Bank Negara Indonesia from 2020 to 2025, leading one of Indonesia’s largest state-owned banks. He was appointed as MedcoEnergi's Independent Commissioner by EGMS decision on June 4^th 2026.
